Riley

What a total sweetheart! Riley is by far the calmest & most laid-back Golden I’ve ever had, though sometimes she can be a bit shy meeting new people. Once she warms up she’s a total love bug! She loves to spend time with her people and playing fetch - often I let her roam off leash because she's such a good listener. She turned 4 last July and is AKC registered with a champion pedigree. After she had her last litter, we found out she had low throid levels due to the stress of birthing. She is on medication (which is very reasonably priced) and will have to be on it for the rest of her life. It will not affect her quality of life/lifespan, and all of her vet records will be transferred to her new family's veterinarian from mine. Since she is retiring from my breeding program she will come with an agreement not to breed. Part of my requirement for a new family is that she bee an inside dog where she can be loved and part of the family! She is housetrained and ready to be a wonderful family dog! Riley does well with other dogs and children. She’s already had a vet check, is up-to-date on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and is ready for her new family ASAP.

Riley's rehoming fee is $750

How the process works:

1. Please fill out my puppy application. I need to know you’re serious about adding a new dog to your family and will take good care of Riley. But please, do not apply unless you have first decided Riley will be a good fit for your family and you are certain you can are ready for another dog.

2. I will reach out based on order of submission if I feel like you will be a good fit for Riley. We will chat on the phone and schedule a pickup and how to place the $300 deposit. As with most deposits, these are non-refundable except in the case that something happens to the dog being adopted.

3. A deposit must be placed immediately after we speak on the phone. I've had too many people ask me to hold a dog for days only to decide they don't have time for one, can no longer pick them up, etc. so my new policy is please decide if you want the dog BEFORE asking me to reserve the dog while you consider it.

4. She is available to leave at her new family's convenience so we can decide the best way to get her to you!
